The Australian Ceramic Society, is an organisation that works towards furthering all aspects of ceramics in science, industry, research, trade and in art. The Society aims to bring together all those interested and involved in ceramics for mutual co-operation and the exchange of knowledge and ideas.

The Society has a Federal Council comprised of representatives from the various state branches. These are in New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia and each operates autonomously with its own committee. There is a Corresponding Secretary in South Australia and New Zealand.
